SPECIFICATION

#TESTSPECIFICATION - USP
1 Description It occurs as free-flowing cream-colored, odorless, tasteless powder.
2 Solubility It is insoluble in water, in dilute acids and in most organic solvents.
3 PH Between 6.0 to 9.0.
4 Calcium binding capacity Not less than 1.8 mmol per g.
5 Free Phosphate Not more than 3.5%.
6 Sodium content Not less than 9.5% and not more than 13.0%.
7 Inorganic bound phosphate Not less than 31.0% and not more than 36.0%, calculated on the dried basis.
8 Nitrogen determination Not more than 1.0%.
9 Loss on drying Not more than 10.0%.

PACKAGING

MOLCEL® CSP is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside and is provided with a barcoded label and a tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. It is preserve in well-closed containers.
