3 Solubility It is insoluble in water, in dilute acids, in dilute sodium hydroxide solutions and in most organic solvents.
4 Lead Not more than 2 mg/kg.
5 PH Between 5.0 and 7.5.
6 Residue on ignition (Sulfated Ash) Not more than 0.05%.
7 Water-soluble substances Not more than 0.24%.
8 Loss on Drying Not more than 7.0%.
9 Assay Not less than 97.0% and not more than 102.0% of carbohydrate calculated as cellulose on the dried basis.

PACKAGING

MOLCEL® MCC is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside and is provided with a barcoded label and a tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. Preserved in tight containers.
